Saturday - Cold, overcast and showery. Went for a drive to Historic Ross. Wandered about, bought a wool shirt which cost as much as 8 pancakes. Very old town, but not a lot to see. The most famous thing is now under a paddock with sheep grazing over the top.
Had another look at the old bridge, built 1836 or thereabouts, still in use.
Sunday - Cold, but the sun came out at last. Went down to the foreshore and spent the morning reading the paper and enjoying the sun. Got to 14deg today. Did much the same for the afternoon. Tried a glass or two of red a little earlier, being on holiday.
